<p>We are recruiting an <strong>experienced Credit Manager </strong>to join the large <strong>European Finance Centre </strong>of a global organisation based in <strong> Bradford</strong>, renowned for exceptional <strong>staff retention</strong>, offering an <strong>impressive</strong> range of <strong>employee benefits</strong>.</p> <ul> <li><strong>Competitive salary + bonus + hybrid working (3 days office/2WFH) + flexible working + generous pension + additional other benefits. </strong></li><li><strong>Ongoing focus on commercial innovation and continuous improvement.</strong></li><li><strong>Implementing technology, processes, and culture to support their sustainability journey. </strong></li><li><strong>Friendly and supportive team.</strong></li></ul> <p><strong>The Job:</strong></p> <p>Reporting to the EFC Credit Manager, the purpose of the role is to lead and improve the organisation’s cash flow and credit performance by delivering debtor-day and cash-collection targets, proactively managing escalated or strategic debtor issues, and ensuring effective team operations.</p> <ul> <li>Support the EFC Credit Manager in delivering the collection strategy, including regional processes and key projects.</li><li>Conduct regular reviews of aged debt to maximise cash collection and reduce overdue balances.</li><li>Ensure all activity is accurately documented for weekly EMEA performance reviews.</li><li>Approve accounts progressing to legal action.</li><li>Act as the escalation point for all late-payment and high-risk debtor issues.</li><li>Promoting effective collaboration between different internal teams.</li><li>Other ad hoc duties as required. </li></ul> <p><strong>The Person:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The successful candidate will have proven <strong>experience </strong>in <strong> credit control</strong>, <strong>credit management</strong>, or a similar finance <strong>leadership </strong>role.</li><li>A strong <strong>understanding </strong>of <strong>cash flow management</strong>, debtor-day <strong>KPIs</strong>, and <strong>credit</strong>-<strong>risk </strong>processes is essential.</li><li>Previous experience <strong>managing </strong>or <strong>supervising </strong> a credit control <strong>team </strong>is required.</li><li>You must be <strong>proficient </strong>in the use of <strong>finance</strong>/<strong>ERP </strong>systems and Microsoft Office, particularly <strong>Excel</strong>.</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p>
