Quality Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a global manufacturing business to recruit a Quality Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry-leading organisation known for innovation, quality excellence, and its commitment to safety-critical products used worldwide. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring product and process quality across the business. You will lead investigations, drive improvements, and act as a primary point of contact for customer quality concerns. Key duties & responsibilities: Act as the main point of contact for customer quality concerns Manage customer portals and monitor quality performance metrics Lead structured problem-solving activities (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone) Drive internal process improvements with production and engineering teams Manage incoming inspection processes and personnel Issue and review supplier 8D reports, working closely with purchasing Conduct internal audits (QMS & EMS) and manage audit schedules Support customer visits and audits Manage PPAP submissions and approvals Maintain environmental compliance and support EMS activities Provide regular KPI reporting to the Quality Manager I'm keen to speak to Quality Engineer's with the following skillset: Experience within quality in an engineering or manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 Proficient in problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, etc.) Strong communication and analytical skills
