Eli-Glow Photoluminescent Pigments will release light for up to 8 hours in darkness and 'charge up' after only 30 minutes exposure to daylight. The powder crystals absorb UV light, and after dark they release energy in the form of a long-lasting ambient glow. These amazing powders will show no sign of reduction in the ability to re-charge daily. The long-lasting glow can be used for practical as well as stunning decorative applications. The pigments absorb radiant U.V energy from sunlight, or even indoor lighting, and convert it into longer wavelengths in the visible spectrum, thereby emitting it as light with brilliant colours. By day the pigment powder is a pale, straw-colour, and by night, the true colours are visible. If mixed with a ratio of 10-20% binder, it will become invisible when uncharged, and will not affect the clarity of your coating. These powders can be mixed into into any non-based binder such as resin, PVA Glues, clear varnishes, acrylic paints, oil paints, enamel paints, solvent based paints, inks, and even concreate sealers. The binder will need to be clear, transparent or light in colour to allow U.V light to activate these crystal powders.�
