To celebrate the 40th anniversary for The Sisters Of Mercys debut album First And Last And Always, a 4LP black and red marble coloured vinyl set is to be released on 4 July 2025., it includes the original album alongside the three EPs that preceded its release Body amp Soul, Walk Away and No Time To Cry. Each EP features nonalbum bonus tracks. Formed in Leeds by guitarist Gary Marx and vocalist Andrew Eldritch in 1980, they released First And Last And Always in March 1985 and is the culmination of five years of independent releases that saw them build up a large cult following.
