Italeri 1/48 Scale G.91 R1/R3 Gina Model Kit HISTORY: The single-engine fighter-bomber Fiat G.91 was developed by the Italian aeronautical company in the early 1950s. Designed by the renowned engineer Giuseppe Gabrielli, it was characterised by an aerodynamic layout with swept wings and compact dimensions that ensured significant in-flight manoeuvrability. Its good performance enabled the G-91 to win the NATO competition aimed at identifying a tactical support aircraft that was easy to produce, yet versatile and flexible, capable of equipping the air units of member countries. The Fiat G-91 was employed by the Italian Air Force, as well as by Germany and Portugal.
