70cl / 49.9% / Distillery Bottling - The third release of the Ian Hunter Story is a 33 Year Old single malt that has been matured exclusively in ex-Bourbon casks, allowing the iconic Laphroaig peatiness to shine through. Aromas of pears, peaches, honey, rose petals, nutmeg and ashy peat smoke fill the nose, complemented by notes of stewed apples, aniseed, creamy liquorice and acrid peat throughout the palate.
