70cl / 53.3% / Gordon & MacPhail - An incredibly mature release of Caol Ila, aged in a refill hogshead and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as part of its Connoisseurs Choice series. Austere aromas of chamois leather, charred pineapple and menthol appear on the nose, leading to notes of coal smoke, citrus and tar on the palate.
