The Guv'nor Merlot

We asked some of our most prized winemakers working in Spain to make the best wines possible – no rules, no restrictions, no red tape. The Guv'nor collection was their answer. Their latest release is a deliciously juicy Merlot. As you know, The Guv’nor’s reputation has been built on making great blended wines by harnessing and combining the best that each of our winemaking regions in Spain has to offer. However, after tasting the 2024 Merlot, it was clear that it was a perfect fit. It has outstanding fruit ripeness, which is a key hallmark of The Guv’nor reds. It’s a touch softer in style than the original red blend, offering delicious blueberry and black cherry fruit flavours with a moreish silky mouthfeel. It's a great partner for a rack of lamb, pizza, empanadas or ratatouille.
