This product is created for animals and is not intended for human use What is Trimediazine Plain Oral Powder for Horses - 10 x 50g sachets Trimediazine is a combination of trimethoprim and sulfadiazine, which together produce a powerful anti-bacterial effect. It can be utilised in upper and lower respiratory tract infections, alimentary tract infections and infected wounds in horses. Examples of infections suitable to treat are: pneumonia, pleurisy, strangles and septicaemia. To administer, add the contents of the sachet into your horse's food for as long as is recommended by your vet. This medication can be safely administered during pregnancy and lactation. Drug absorption may be greater if food is withheld for a few hours prior to administering. Trimediazine is available to buy in packs of 10 sachets, with each sachet containing 50g of powder.
