While entrance fees and certified guides are optional, you’ll have free time to explore the ruins and soak in the myths. Next, journey into the Cretan countryside for a stop at a local olive oil estate. Learn about traditional and modern methods, followed by a tasting of premium oils. Then, visit a family-run winery and raki distillery to sample native wines and tsikoudia, Crete’s signature spirit, while discovering age-old distilling techniques.
