Prunus 'Cherry Sunburst' is an early cropping variety, bearing dark red cherries that ripen to an almost black hue, ready for harvest from mid-July. These cherries are bursting with flavour and offer numerous culinary possibilities. The tree is both ornamental, whether adorned with blossoms or laden with fruit, and productive, with cherries that store exceptionally well for weeks after picking. 'Sunburst' is self-fertile, removing the need for a second pollination partner. Plant in any well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered location. How to Grow: Position in a sunny, sheltered spot. Protect from harsh winter conditions; consider patio container cultivation for ease of movement.
