Whitex’ Cauliflower is a truly unique variety, producing the whitest curds you’ll ever see! A revolution in breeding, these clever hybrids stay remarkably white, resisting discolouration even in direct sunlight. With an upright growth habit and leaves that don't cover the curd, it’s easy to see when they’re ready to harvest. These will even stay white after harvesting and during storage.Upon receipt, promptly remove the plants from their packaging. Water if the compost feels dry. After planting, water generously to help settle the soil. Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil, spacing plants 45cm (18”) apart and rows 60cm (24”) apart. In the early stages, water regularly to prevent the formation of small heads.Bend larger leaves over the head to shield it from the sun and prevent discolouration. Consistent watering is key; avoid letting the plants dry out, as this can hinder their development. Regularly hoe between plants to control weeds and expose insect larvae.
