Product Description

A Woody, Subtly Sweet Cinnamon with Citrus Notes. Woody but subtly sweet, this single origin cinnamon is grown completely organically by their  partner small-hold farmer in the Kidichi village.. This cinnamon is grown in what once were the private spice gardens of the first Sultan Seyyid Said, but the area has now been split up between multiple small-hold farmers. The cinnamon grows in a dense forest together with clove, jackfruit and rambutan trees.. Farmers take great care in removing the outer bark after which the inner bark is carefully peeled off and sun dried. They deliberately do not produce cinnamon quills as they feel this reduces the chance of any contamination and thus improves the quality.. Our cinnamon can be described as little sticks of citrusy, woody sugary goodness. When the cinnamon touches your tongue, you can just feel the sugar dissolving on your tastebuds.. How to use:. Add a piece of cinnamon to simmer in stews, curries and rice dishes or sprinkle on top of some of your favourite desserts or baked goods.
