Also known as square sausage, Lorne sausage is a Scottish tradition and an essential element of Scottish breakfasts. The shape of a square sausage makes it ideal for sandwiches and rolls. The square shape is achieved by assembling the sausage meat and setting it into a loaf, and then slicing it into approximately 16-18 slices. These slices are then fried to perfection and served to your specifications. The Sliced Steak Lorne sausage differs from the traditional Lorne sausage in that it contains no lamb mince and also less rusk.  All of our Lorne sausages are hand made by Campbells in Linlithgow.
