Thorndown Black Stain Blocking Primer 2.5L

Achieve a flawless finish with Thorndown Black Stain Blocking Primer. This premium, water-based primer expertly prevents tannins and stains from penetrating timber surfaces, eliminating resin bleed and sap stains. Designed for use under Thorndown's UV clear and translucent wood tones, and semi-opaque colours including Golden Somer, Rowan Berry Red, and Sundowner Orange, it's suitable for all untreated softwoods and hardwoods such as pine, cedar, redwood, plywood, MDF, and hardboard. Low in VOCs, this primer is ideal for both interior and exterior applications. Enjoy rapid drying - one hour in good weather - and typically requires only one coat, although a second coat may enhance protection on highly resinous or knotty wood.
