Winsor & Newton Oil Painting Primer Can Be Applied Directly To Glue-sized Canvas And Paper And Untreated Wood Such As Hardwood And Plywood With Virtually No Sinking In, As Well As Metal. It Is Recommended That You Apply Several Thin Layers And Let Them Dry Overnight Before Painting. The Treated Ground Accepts Oil Colours Easily And Without Chalkiness Or Absorbency. A Small Amount Of Oil Colour Can Be Mixed Into The Oil Painting Primer For Tinted Priming.
