Tetrosyl Plastic Primer 1L

Tetrosyl Plastic Primer allows plastic to be painted with colour without flaking or cracking. The special formulation provides a strong adhesive layer that is both durable & flexible. Use with almost any type of plastic including ABS, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, PVC, uPVC, Kevlar, Fibreglass & PET. Tetrosyl Plastic Primer improves flexibility and can be covered with a wide range of aerosol paints. Preparation: Ensure surface is clean & dry. Mask off the surrounding area. If the surface to be sprayed is glossy, lightly sand with fine abrasive paper to achieve a good key. Shake can for minimum of 2 min. Test spray technique and compatibility on a small inconspicuous area similar to that being sprayed. Hold can 20-30 cms (8”-12”) from surface and spray in light even strokes. Shake can regularly. Occasionally invert can and press sprayhead to clear. The surface will be touch dry in 10 minutes and thoroughly dry in 2 hours. Note: DO NOT OVER-APPLY PLASTIC PRIMER, FULLY COVER THE PLASTIC WITH THIN FILM FOR THE BEST RESULTS. FOR SAFETY REASONS DO NOT USE ON CRASH HELMETS. STORAGE: Store and use this paint at room temperature. Low temperature below 10°C may reduce aerosol performance. After use, invert can and spray continuously until nozzle is clear. Sprayhead can be cleaned carefully twisting off from the stem and immersing into cellulose thinners. Ensure can is empty before disposal. TOUCHING UP: Prepare surface. Remove Brush from under the cap. Carefully spray a small amount of paint into inverted cap. While paint is wet, dip brush and apply to the area to be treated.
