Makita SP001GZ03 40VMAX XGT 165mm Plunge Cut Circular Saw (Bare Unit) with Wireless Adaptor & MakPac Case

The SP001GZ03 is a 165mm brushless Plunge Saw, powered by 40V Max Li-ion XGT slide type battery (not included), to supply energy to the powerful 40V brushless motor, with soft start for smooth start-ups, variable speed controlled by dial to enable the user to match the speed to the application and constant speed control to automatically apply additional power to the motor to maintain constant speed under load to deliver up to 4,900 rpm for faster cutting and ripping. The SP001GZ03 is equipped with easy to set depth adjustments with a large scale, depth stopper for scuffing to enable the user to cut a preliminary groove at a depth of 2mm, positive stops at the most commonly used bevel angles being 22.5 degrees and 45 degrees, dual front and rear bevel supports for increased rigidity for precise and accurate bevel cuts and a locking lever to hold the blade in position so that the wrench can be used through the hole in the blade case for easier blade installation and removal. The on-board hex wrench is included. The SP001GZ03 has a rotatable dust nozzle; two leaf springs enable to twist and lock the nozzle with a click to reduce any unexpected rotations and a large rear dust port to direct the material away from the user and easily connects to a vacuum system. A guide rail (199141-8 available separately as an option) can be attached to the SP001GZ03 without an adapter. The SP001GZ03 features eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) for improved dust and water resistance for operating in harsher weather conditions, Auto-Start Wireless system (AWS) to automatically connect to a compatible vacuum cleaner with Bluetooth and battery protection circuit designed to protect the battery from damages due to overheating, over-discharge and overload current.
