These are the Knights of the Round Table bidden to seek Holy Grail. Against a background of a dark forest, the Ladies of the court bid adieu to the knights. King Arthur was an enigmatic leader of the 6th Century, but in the Middle Ages his exploits enlarged upon with such romantic imaginary that by the 12th, when the Knights had been linked to the quest for the Holy Grail, had become the legendary hero of European chivalry.
