The Sets Combine A Gesso Panel Hand-coated With A Professional Acid-free Acrylic Gesso Ground With A White Wooden Tray Frame. The Tray Frame Will Provide A Beautiful Final Touch To Any Artwork. Designed To Have A 5mm Shadow Between The Painting Panel And The Inner Edge Of The Face, This Allows You To See The Edge Of The Artwork And Provides A Floating Effect. The Frame Has Pre-drilled Countersunk Screw Holes For Attaching The Panel Into The Frame (screws Not Included). Each Purchase Includes D-rings With Screws And Picture Cord To Hang Your Frame Either Landscape Or Portrait. Jackson's White Gesso Panels Have Been Hand-coated With A Professional Acid-free Acrylic Gesso Ground, With Added Titanium White. The Frame Is Made Of Pine Wood, And The Board Is MDF. This Makes Them Ideal For Use With All Drawing And Painting Media. Because These Panels Have Been Made By Hand, They Are Not Perfectly Uniform And May Display Slight Differences In Texture. The Surface Of The Panel May Appear Perfectly Smooth Or Be Slightly Textured Like Cold-pressed Watercolour Paper. If A Perfectly Smooth Surface Is Required, They Can Be Given A Light Sanding With Fine-grade Sandpaper. Please Note, These Gesso Panels Work Best With Heavy Body Acrylic.
