Grown right here in the UK on dedicated commercial Christmas tree farms, each cut tree has spent around 12-14 years being carefully pruned, shaped, handled and nurtured to protect it from pests and diseases.A few tips for care and use: we recommend wearing garden gloves and long sleeves when handling your tree, as the needles can sometimes cause mild skin irritation. Your tree should arrive with vibrant green needles (free from browning), branches covered in foliage, a classic conical shape with a straight central leader, and clear of weeds or debris.It's natural for all trees to shed some needles, but the Nordmann Fir is renowned for its excellent needle retention, making it a low-drop variety. Upon delivery, please check that the tree meets the general condition as described above. To keep your tree looking its best, avoid placing it near direct heat sources like radiators, log burners, or open fires, and remember to water it regularly, just like you would with cut flowers. Treat your Christmas tree just like a cut flower.Top tip: Before purchasing, always consider where you'll place your Christmas tree, ensuring it fits comfortably within your space. Keep in mind that a Nordmann Fir can spread to approximately 1-1.5 metres wide at the base once the netting is removed, but you can trim it slightly if needed. Please remember that each Christmas tree is grown from a seed, making them unique individuals, and although we strive to provide perfect trees, slight variations in shape and appearance are to be expected. Please note tree sizes are approximate.WHAT IF I HAVE DELIVERY PROBLEMS.As Christmas trees are a living product, we appreciate that from time to time you may have a concern about your tree or its delivery. Should you have any concerns, please contact us via email with your order details, a brief description of the issue and a photograph of the issue. Live trees are exempt from Distance Selling regulations as a living product. We can only manage queries for missing, faulty or damaged trees. If there is an issue with the tree you will need to dispose of the tree, as our carrier cannot collect from a domestic location. All of our live trees are exempt from our standard returns policy.CANCELLATIONS.Once an order has been received, we cannot accept cancellations. Our suppliers farm will pick, pack, and process a tree before we are able to mark the order as dispatched. Therefore if you have a concern about your order, please contact the customer services team.
