This is one of Cantele's most critically acclaimed wines, blending two of Puglia’s most important red grape varieties: Negroamaro and Primitivo. Known for their expertise in producing high-quality wines from Puglia’s indigenous grape varieties, Cantele are one of the biggest names in the region. The Amativo is a blend of Primitivo and Negroamaro, two of Puglia’s most important grapes and is named as such using elements from each ‘Ama – Tivo’. The Cantele family has been committed to sustainable viticulture and traditional winemaking for over three generations, ensuring that each bottle reflects the unique character of the Salento peninsula and the culture of winemaking through time. This is bold, expressive sun-baked wine with rich dark cherry, plum, and spicy notes. It pairs beautifully with grilled meats, rich pasta dishes, or aged cheeses.
