The cool white, flicker-free light from the LEDs installed in the head is emitted upwards and downwards, providing indirect ambient lighting and direct task lighting. Lavigo Core is controlled automatically based on the ambient brightness and the presence of people; it is equipped with daylight and PIR motion sensors for this purpose.
