Round ceiling lamp Iguazu made of jute Iguazu was named after the waterfalls on the border of Brazil and Argentina, they are the largest waterfalls in South America and a popular excursion point. As the water flows downwards, so do the fine lines of the round umbrella. Their parallel arrangement and the close-meshed workmanship make them look like rivulets that allow a view of the interior through delicate gaps. The ceiling lamp is made of the popular natural fibre jute, which is characterised by its special properties. Besides its robustness, jute is considered to be very stretchable and tear-resistant, but sustainable aspects should also be emphasised. The main cultivation area is fertile alluvial soils, thanks to which the undemanding jute plant does not need to be fertilised. This is a great advantage for the environment and the farmers compared to intensive cotton cultivation. These are aspects that fit the basic idea of the Dutch brand Good & Mojo, which wants to create sustainable lamps with its collection that do good at the same time.
