Forestier Oyster designer wall light, black

Oyster designer wall light with pull switch Designer Jette Scheib lives and works in Barcelona, but previously studied at the Berlin University of the Arts. She is the creative mind behind the Oyster series of lights, which she has designed to vaguely resemble an oyster. The centrepiece of the light is not a pearl, but the bulb, which is slightly concealed by a round disc so that the light does not dazzle. The two rings that form the lampshade are woven with cotton threads. Designer Jette Scheib says of the importance of lighting, which should not be underestimated: "You can have the softest sofa, but if the lighting isn't good, you'll never sit comfortably."
