The iron fertilizer from the Dennerle Plant System Set. As the size of the aquarium increases, so does the quantity and size of the plants. For this reason, we have developed our Plant System, a system with highly concentrated components. The components Plant System V30 (complete fertiliser), Plant System S7 (vital substances) and Plant System E15 (iron fertiliser) are therefore designed to meet the needs of large aquariums. All macro- and micronutrients and trace elements are covered. Plant System E15 provides all aquarium plants with immediately effective, 2-valent sewing iron and thus ensures fresh, magnificent greenery. Deficiency symptoms such as yellow, glassy leaves are largely cured, young leaves sprout lush green again. Iron is of central importance for all aquarium plants. It is needed for the formation of the vital leafy green. Without leafy greens, the plant cannot carry out photosynthesis. Iron deficiency is immediate: the young leaves appear pale and yellowish (iron chlorosis). Important: Plants can only absorb so-called 2-valent iron. Unfortunately, this is not stable in the aquarium, but is quickly oxidized and thus converted into ineffective 3-valent, "brown" iron. Tap water contains practically no iron. Aquarium plants are therefore dependent on regular iron fertilization. Special protective shells – so-called chelates – effectively protect the E15 iron and keep it available to plants in the aquarium for a long time (depot effect). E15 is phosphate- and nitrate-free and therefore does not promote algae. Special note: Commercially available iron tests are often unable to detect chelated iron. These tests then indicate reduced findings, although there is actually enough iron in the aquarium water.. Application. Simply add tablets to the aquarium, preferably after the partial water change. They slowly dissolve within a few days.. Dosage. 1 tablet per 100 L adds 0.27 mg/L of iron to the aquarium water. Regular use results in an iron content in the optimal range of 0.05 – 0.2 mg/l.
