For optimal growth, position your Alocasia in bright, filtered light, away from direct sunlight that could scorch the leaves. Choose a warm room with a consistent temperature above 15°C (59°F) - keep it away from central heating and draughty doorways.Water regularly, allowing the soil surface to dry out slightly between waterings, and always ensure the pot drains thoroughly afterwards. During the winter months, reduce watering to prevent the soil from becoming waterlogged, which can lead to root rot. Feed your houseplant regularly from March to September when it's actively growing. Alocasia thrives in a humid environment, so place it on a tray filled with pebbles and water; as the water evaporates, it will increase the humidity around the plant.This plant is ideal for greenhouses, conservatories or patios.
