Product Description

Behold the Lily Tasman, boasting enormous pink blooms adorned with a striking deep pink stripe down each petal, gracefully fading to white at the edges. This statuesque tree lily is destined to become a captivating centrepiece, whether planted en masse around your patio or nestled at the rear of a sun-drenched border. Tasman is remarkably easy to cultivate, requiring minimal staking while delivering exquisite fragrance and vibrant colour throughout July and August. While these lilies make stunning cut flowers, remember to leave at least a third of the stem intact to nourish the bulb for the following year. Position in a sunny or partially shaded location - lilies thrive with their roots shaded and their heads basking in sunlight. Lily Tasman flourishes in moist, well-drained, acid to neutral soil enriched with compost or well-rotted manure. When planting in containers, opt for a loam-based compost such as John Innes No. 3. Container-grown lilies should be divided and repotted into fresh compost every other year.Plant bulbs approximately 15cm apart at a depth three times their height, as deep planting aids in protecting the bulbs during warmer weather. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Once flowers have faded, deadhead them where they join the stem to prevent seed pod development. Reduce watering after flowering, and move container plants to a frost-free location over winter. Lilies planted in borders can remain in place in milder climates, provided the soil doesn't become overly wet.Product Specifications:.Position: Full Sun or Semi-Shade.Height: Up to 180cm when fully established.Spread: Up to 45cm when fully established.Supplied as 10 x Lily Tasman Bulbs.Delivered with growing and care instructions.Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity.
