Black Diamond Cerametallic Paddle Clutch - Stage 3

A Black Diamond Stage 3 Cerametallic Paddle Clutch uses a cerametallic drive plate which will cope with significantly increased heat and torque. They can cope with between 30% and 60% increase in torque. Their resistance to heat damage makes them ideal for heavily modifed diesels where the torque has increased significantly but the clutch still needs to be slipped.Deals with up to 60% increase in torqueResistant to heat damageA Black Diamond Cerametallic Stage 3 Paddle Clutch is designed to cope with significant increases in torque, and stand up to sporty driving.A Paddle clutch uses a segmented ceremetallic drive plate with between 3- and 6-ceremetallic paddles. The smaller area helps give the clutch a higher clamping load. The compound friction plate material is also much grippier.Ceremetallic stands up extremely well to heat too which makes these preferable to Kevlar on highly tuned road driven diesels.The number of paddles does affect the driving feel, with more paddles generally equating to a slightly smoother driving feel. The different drive plate material will give the clutch a harsher, more on-off engagement feel than an organic clutch which will be particularly noticeable when parking or driving in traffic.
