The new RWS axle system from DT Swiss revolutionises the way wheels are attached by doing away with the traditional cam system. With DT RWS the axle and lever are joined and clamping force is applied simply by turning the lever. The lever can be easily moved or re-positioned simply by lifting the lever away from the bike and rotating to the position required.The RWS axle provides safe and easy operation with up to 50% more clamping force than conventional quick release systems. Compatible with all disc brakes, the clamping force is not influenced by heat build up. No plastic or synthetic parts are used in load bearing areas, the multi-position lever is made from carbon reinforced resin and connected to an aluminium axle.Axle has 1.0mm thread pitch and non-removable QR lever.
