The Pipercross Performance Induction Kit is designed to improve airflow by reducing intake restriction. It uses a large conical foam filter, mandrel-bent alloy MAF intake pipe, and a heatshield to create a more efficient path for air to enter your engine.Discover the key features of this induction kit:Bespoke triple-layer conical foam filter: The filter measures 180mm in diameter with a 90mm spun-aluminium outlet, providing a 10.14% larger filtration surface area than standard panel filters, which increases airflow capacity.Mandrel-bent alloy MAF intake pipe: A single-piece aluminium hard pipe with a consistent 90mm outside diameter and a 70mm reducing swage to the turbo inlet delivers smooth internal airflow and is finished with a durable powder-coated surface. The CNC-machined MAF sensor boss is placed in almost identical location to the OE system to maintain consistent and accurate sensor readings.Four-wall aluminium heatshield: Made from CNC cut 1.5mm aluminium and powder coated, the shield fully encloses the filter and uses OE ducting to direct cold air while sealing against engine bay heat with EPDM edging.Reduced airflow restriction: Testing to maximum airflow against the OE system showed a 146% average reduction in restriction, with airflow improving from 481 CFM to 746 CFM for a 43% increase.Thick-walled silicone hoses: Smooth internal bore coupler and stepped turbo elbow constructed from strong 5-ply silicone, provides consistent transitions which improves airflow and offers long term durability and high thermal resistance to manage intake temperatures during demanding operation.Dyno-tested performance gain: On a suitably modified stage 1 2.0 TFSI engine, testing recorded up to +15 WHP and +21 Nm of torque.This induction kit provides a high-flow intake setup that uses proven filtration technology and precision-made components.
