The Pipercross Performance Induction Kit increases airflow by replacing the factory airbox and intake components with a large cylindrical foam filter, smooth-bore alloy MAF pipe, heatshield, and silicone intake hose. It is designed and refined using 3D scanning, CAD modelling, and in-house airflow testing.Discover the key features of this induction kit:Cylindrical triple-layer foam filter: Measures 140 mm in outer diameter with a 70 mm outlet and provides a 113.71% larger filtration surface area than a typical foam airbox panel filter, maximising airflow while maintaining filtration efficiency.Powder-coated aluminium MAF pipe: Manufactured as a single piece with a CNC-machined sensor boss, this pipe keeps the OE sensor position and distance from the filter for consistent and accurate airflow readings.Thick-walled silicone intake hose: Smooth internal bore with a 70 mm to 65 mm transition improves airflow to the throttle body and offers high thermal resistance to manage intake temperatures during demanding operation.Five-sided aluminium heatshield: CNC cut from 2 mm aluminium and powder coated, this shield fully encloses the filter on five sides, incorporates a removable lid, and uses OE ducting and mounting points.Reduced airflow restriction: Testing shows a 74.25% maximum and 68.62% average decrease in restriction, with airflow improving from 541 CFM to 731 CFM.This induction kit provides a large-capacity foam filter and precision-made components to reduce restriction, improve airflow, and maintain compatibility with existing ducting and sensor placement.
