Mechanical Inspector

<p>We’re recruiting on behalf of an established engineering/manufacturing client who are looking to hire a Mechanical Inspector to join their Quality team, reporting to the QA Manager. This role is responsible for ensuring mechanical components, sub-assemblies and finished items meet engineering, quality and compliance requirements, supporting production continuity and customer expectations.</p> <p><strong>Mechanical Inspector - Key responsibilities - Quality, Inspection, Manufacturing, Engineering</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Inspect incoming components against drawings, specifications and purchase order requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Carry out in-process and final inspections of mechanical parts and assemblies</p> </li><li> <p>Identify, document and raise non-conformances in line with QMS procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Support root cause analysis and corrective actions where required</p> </li><li> <p>Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances and technical specifications</p> </li><li> <p>Complete dimensional inspection using manual measuring tools and CMM (where applicable)</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain calibration status and traceability of inspection equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Record inspection results and quality data accurately in the ERP system</p> </li><li> <p>Support goods-in and goods-out checks during busy periods</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain housekeeping standards and follow safety/compliance requirements&nbsp;</p> </li></ul> <p><strong>Mechanical Inspector - Experience -&nbsp;Quality, Inspection, Manufacturing, Engineering</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Mechanical engineering background or strong practical inspection experience</p> </li><li> <p>Confident reading and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings</p> </li><li> <p>Mechanical inspection or quality assurance experience</p> </li><li> <p>ERP experience and good MS Office skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach</p> </li></ul> <p><strong>Mechanical Inspector, Quality, Inspection, Manufacturing, Engineering</strong></p> <p>If you’re interested, apply today and we’ll share full details of the client and next steps.</p>
